Dori was born and raised in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked in several of the major hospitals on Oahu since 1986. She recently participated in the development of a holistic Wellness Center in the Diamond Head area in Honolulu, Oahu. Dori also finds fulfillment in doing volunteer work in the community and enjoys working with women in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions. She has also participated in the Foster Parent program with the Department of Human Services on Oahu.
Dori has been practicing Reiki since 1999. She received her First and Second Degree Reiki training from Reiki Master Maureen Pua'ena O’Shaughnessy. On January 1, 2003 she was initiated as a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage by Reiki Master O’Shaughnessy.
Her passion is to share her knowledge and experience of Reiki’s rejuvenating healing power with those who feel drawn to this path of holistic wellness.
